ANIMAL PROBLEM! I FEEL BAD FOR HER FuTURE PET!?

Well, theres a girl I know, and she stole a wild rabbit out of the wild, and stuck it in a hutch and kept it as her pet for about 2 days then it died. Now her mom is letting her get another one! Its so unfair and ridiculos! I have 2 rabbits, both 5 year olds, and I love them, and I hate to see this rabbit brought home, and forgotten! Is there anything I can do?!
