Yep...Another "I Want to be an Actress" Question :)

To keep your day job and go for it, I would suggest some practical things such as find a photographer who specializes in actor's head shots and go get one, Tryout for some amateur theatre, there should be lots of community theatres around. Take a weekend cl at a professional acting studio. Read Acting as a Business by Brian O'Neil and submit to agents. You certainly should be able to keep your job while giving this a try--I am uming that they will give you an afternoon off once in a while for auditions and interviews. Break a leg.
