I had an earwig crawl into my ear last week while I was asleep!!!!!!?

It was very loud while it was in there and woke me up!!!! I felt it and I just knew it was a bug ewwwwww. I squashed it with a Qtip and tilted my head while holding back my pina and it fell out after about 10 min of being in my ear and me freaking out. as soon as it fell out my ear got very warm feeling and since then I have been hearing a crackling noise!!!! My Dr gave some meds but what the heck is the crackling noise??????
