Will movie theaters one day be a thing of the past.?

Are they doomed to the same fate as drive -ins? Will NETFLIX and On Demand video conveniences put the overpriced and overly sponsored theater industry to rest? I personally do not go to the theater anymore mostly because STAR WARS is finished. But also because I dont like seeing COKA-COLA and FANTA commercials before the trailers start. Why should I have to set through commercials for a movie that I paid $9 for? Aren't commercials meant to help pay for free broadcasts as in television or radio? It's insulting enough to pay $30 for a family to go see a movie and it just adds insult to injury to have to watch these greedy corporations get more money by making you watch their commercials so you buy their drinks and make them even more money. I say boycott your local movie theater until they take the free advertisements out and make the tickets much more proportional to the modern economy.
