No heart beat (6 Wk 5 days)...... Plz suggest.?

I have known people in the same predicament that didn't have a heartrate till later than this and it was fine. I would not jump to have a D & C. A friend of mine didn't have a heartrate till 2.5 weeks after mine which was 5wks, 4 days, her baby was born 2 days after mine when she went into labor (I was a scheduled c-section) and her son was full term, no breathing issues, 7lbs (same as her other two kids). Do another scan, and if no heartrate then, ask the doc to do some serial hcg's to see if its rising. If it is, they will be willing to do another scan after that.
