Boy Troubles! I Really need help.....he means alot to me!"?

Okay,so there is this boy and he has had a crush on me for a long time, in the begining i used to be rely good friends with him and sit with him at lunch at school and everything but i forget why , but i suddenly stopped sitting with him and now i relize how much i liked him back, but he is too shy to ask me out, and its been a while since we have tlked!! i rely need help.should i just tak a gut and go and tlk to him or what? What should i say???? any boys want to comment????
