Can a salamander be kept with an african clawed frog?

i have 3 african clawed frogs that i really enjoy. ive been looking lately at getting a salamander. is there a type of salamander that i can get that makes a good pet but also will live well with african clawed frogs of good size (6 to 7 inches toe to head)? preferably semi aquatic because i would enjoy holding it from time to time.
